IGL Token App – Terms of Use

Welcome to the IGL Token App. By registering for and using the app, you agree to the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1.1 Purpose of the App

This app is designed for entertainment, skill-based competition, and enhanced interaction within the Indoor Golf League (IGL). It is not a gambling application, nor does it offer any form of chance-based prizes.

1.2 Tokens – No Monetary Value

Tokens used in this app are digital points used for tracking achievements, entering skill-based competitions, and unlocking non-cash rewards.

Tokens cannot be exchanged for cash, withdrawn, or traded for goods/services outside the IGL ecosystem.

Purchasing tokens supports the league and unlocks app-based features, but does not constitute a financial investment or asset.

1.3 No Gambling or Betting

The app operates in full compliance with the Gambling Act 2003 (New Zealand).

No tokens may be staked, risked, or wagered in any chance-based game.

Peer challenges must be based solely on skill (e.g., Long Drive, Closest to the Pin), with no involvement of chance or outside wagering.

1.4 Prizes & Rewards

Rewards (such as merch, coaching vouchers, event invites) are non-cash and based purely on performance.

These prizes are small in value, promotional in nature, and not redeemable for money.

1.5 Peer Challenges

Users may participate in informal skill-based challenges using tokens.

These are for fun, recognition, and bragging rights only.

All token transfers must comply with app guidelines and are tracked for transparency.

1.6 Enforcement

IGL reserves the right to suspend or ban users who misuse tokens in a way that mimics or constitutes illegal gambling.

Violations may be reported to the relevant authorities.

What You Can’t Do:

❌ Turn tokens back into cash

❌ Gamble tokens for chance-based wins

❌ Use tokens outside of the IGL platform
